Mr Ahmed Shaheen
FRCOG FRCS FRCP MFFP Dip. Obs.Ultrasound
Mr Shaheen is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, as well a Member of the Faculty of the Family Planning and Reproductive Health Care of the RCOG. He has the Diploma of advanced training in Obstetric Ultrasound of the joint committee of the RCOG & RCR. He is accredited by the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) at King’s College University Hospital in London.
Mr Shaheen has over 30 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology. In August 1997 he was appointed Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at United Lincolnshire Hospital Trust. He held the additional appointment of Clinical Director in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the Trust from April 2004 until June 2007.
Mr Shaheen resigned from his Consultant position within the United Lincolnshire NHS Trust in February 2008. He is currently a full time private consultant. He practices in his specialist field of Gynaecology and Pregnancy Ultrasound Scanning. His scanning sessions are based at The Brayford Studio in Lincoln.
